HEALTHY START
Promotora/Community Health Worker (Anthony & Sunland Park Area): Responsible for performing a variety outreach (recruitment and retention), home visits, education, and other support services to women of child bearing age and families with children ages 0-3 yrs of age. Requirements include: BA in Community Health or related Health/Social Services, or a minimum High School Diploma (or equivalent) with at least two years experience in this field. Good working knowledge of child development, community resources in both Las Cruces and Southern Dona Ana County. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

ADMINISTRATION
Nursing Director: Oversees and manages nursing functions at all medical clinics for LCDF. Supervises nursing staff, nurse recruitment and hiring, training & development, performance evaluation, employee issues, scheduling and work delegation, and related management functions. Ensures quality of care at all respective programs as well as full compliance with regulatory agencies (e.g., JCAHO) and all applicable policies and standards of performance. Provides the supportive, technical and/or management assistance necessary to effectively address organizational/operating problems, improve quality of services, and enhance service levels. Ensuring appropriate nursing staff levels. Provides nursing leadership and expertise for the organization and the community. Position requires BSN (MSN desirable) and at least three years managerial/administrative experience in healthcare setting as well as an exceptionally strong skill set in nursing management and leadership.
Grants Writer (Part-Time): Works under supervision of the Chief Executive Officer and in cooperation with Program Directors to plan and develop proposal coordinate activities related to the planning and development of federal, state, and other resources for LCDF health, education, and social services programs. BA in English, business administration or health-related field from an accredited college or university with an emphasis on technical communication/business writing with 5 years experience in document production. A Master’s Degree in English/Technical Communication, in Business Administration, Public Administration or Health Administration and related experience is preferred.

Human Resources Specialist: Responsible for participating in the day-to-day support activities. Provides assistance in the areas of employment, benefits administration, employee communications, employee records and data management; and furnishes reports. Manages some human resources activities or administers policies according to executive level direction. Follows set procedures and may exercise independent judgment in carrying out instructions and duties. Associate’s degree from accredited university in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field may be substituted for work experience.
